For over thirty years, Chris has helped Individuals meet their financial needs by developing investment plans around his client’s long-term goals and risk tolerance.
Chris began his career as a financial advisor in Washington, D.C. with A.G. Edwards before moving to the Pittsburgh area where he continued with A.G. Edwards which was subsequently acquired by Wells Fargo Advisors. Over the years, Chris has been recognized as a Five Star Wealth Manager* from 2012-2018 and 2020-2025 as featured in the Pittsburgh Magazine.
Chris earned his undergraduate degree in a multi-disciplinary program from Stanford University where he attended on a full-ride scholarship. After Stanford, Chris returned to his home state of Oregon where he earned a law degree from the University of Oregon Law School and practiced briefly as an attorney. With a move to the nation’s capital and before embarking in the brokerage industry, Chris worked in the public sector at the Food and Drug Administration and on Capitol Hill as a legislative assistant to a U.S. Congressman.
In his free time, Chris enjoys reading, tennis and playing the piano. But his main passion is travel. To date, Chris and his wife, Nancy, have visited over thirty countries with more to come.

The Five Star Wealth Manager award was issued on June 1, 2025 by Five Star Professional (FSP) for the time period September 18, 2024 through February 28, 2025. Unfavorable feedback may have been discovered through a check of complaints registered with a regulatory authority or complaints registered through FSP’s consumer complaint process; feedback may not be representative of any one client’s experience; C. Individually contributed to a financial settlement of a customer complaint; D. Filed for personal bankruptcy within the past 11 years; E. Been terminated from a financial services firm within the past 11 years; F. Been convicted of a felony); 4. Fulfilled their firm review based on internal standards; 5. Accepting new clients. Evaluation criteria – considered: 6. One-year client retention rate; 7. Five-year client retention rate; 8. Non-institutional discretionary and/or non-discretionary client assets administered; 9. Number of client households served; 10. Education and professional designations. FSP does not evaluate quality of services provided to clients.
